It’s hard to imagine a congressional body actually accomplishing less than the 114th Congress did in its term, but a lame-duck 114th might just give itself a run for its own money. Many have rightly surmised that given how incompetent this congress is — from not giving the country a simple background check amendment that had tremendous majority support to wasting more than $14 million dollars investigating Benghazi into oblivion only to confirm yet again that there was no “there” there — that a lame duck version of it would be almost too pathetic for words.
