It might be hard to tell, but believe it or not, Republicans really are into the whole idea of “equality.” Sure, maybe the policies and ideologies they support actually favor those who would like to use laws to force you to bend to their religious dogma. Sure, they have no problem throwing any and all minority groups under the bus when the old, stodgy, Christian conservative white folks start screaming about their “country being taken away” from them. But really, Republicans totally believe in equality of some kind…
